    Illinois Child Support Laws you will have to scroll down to section 505. In short the court sets child support based upon the guidelines for the number of children as applied to the "Net Income" of the non custodial parent.

    Establishing Parentage Laws these laws control how one begins to file a case for child support between two parents that are not married.  Of these laws it is important to note that if the parties have signed a Voluntary Acknowledgment of Paternity, the clerk is to waive the filing fee pursuant 750 ILCS 45/6(e).  Child Support is set based upon the above laws.

    Illinois State Disbursement Unit this is the website that provides information about where the child support payments are recorded.  A useful part of this site is that one can check the last five payments online.

    Uniform Order for Support this is the form that is required to be signed by the Judge when child support is set or changed.

    Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education this site provides a one week free trail service to use their resources on the law. The IICLE series is more or less a legal encyclopedia set. You may find hard copies of these books in the courthouse law library near you.

   Child Support Calculator - the link does not work because there is no site that really is helpful. Establishing child support typically has many factors that have to be considered and an one size fits all website calculator just does not cut it.

    Review a Case Online this is link to a system that enables one to view the court clerk entries about your case.  However not all counties use this system so the link may not assist you.
